Shotstopper.com was started in January 2007 by Steve Forbes. Steve had the idea of starting an online website dedicated to Goalkeeping after his own trouble as a goalkeeper found that he often had no specialist goalkeeping coaching available to him at club training.

Specialist goalkeeper coaches can be expensive, and so it is the case that most young keeper’s are left wanting for more tailored drills and tips at training sessions, but there is no one there to provide them the assistance they require to develop their skills which enables them to perform at a higher level.

Shotstopper.com aims to provide easy to understand, proven drills and information, that will allow youngsters through to adult keepers to develop good technique and understanding of the game. Shotstopper.com will also provide assistance and discussion for coaches around the world to give input into drills and tips, and also learn from the many drills and tips posted upon the site.
